This specialty foam company, with a manufacturing division in upstate NY, is a 3-generation family-owned business that manufactures, fabricates and distributes open and closed-cell foam products. Its clients include well-known national and international companies in the medical, recreational, automotive, and packaging industries. In 2015, the Company re-located to a new facility and reconfigured a critical line of highly specialized equipment. It also conducted substantial research and development for a new product line that was eventually widely adopted across several industries. These factors resulted in a decrease in sales in 2015, and utilized most of the Company’s working capital. Clubhouse Capital secured a new revolving line of credit for the Company with more aggressive advance rates, and included a closing day over-advance to fund a back-log of orders from a $3 billion foreign company.   (Fall 2014)
